I am very glad for you Karen to have been able to find peace. I hope that other will find the post and let it be a road map for them. Personally I am on the journey but I do not think I have come to the ultimate peace when nothing will disturb me.

When I found out I was pregnant I started journaling. 22 years later I am still journaling. Part of the journaling was my journey from being released from Crohn’s disease and of course, that was part of my journaling; the ups downs and so on. Just as you said Juan, “As you move along your healing journey inevitably you will notice an increase in the level of peace.” I have gone back and read my journals over the years and could see as I healed my thought patterns changed and I became more conscious. I am at a peace and things from my past to my childhood that would cause such grief, sorrow and anger are no longer trigger points of emotions; just peace. And, there is no reason to revisit these times and they are simply released. It is such an incredible feeling to be free and at peace. If only the rest of the world could do the same we truly would all be at peace instead of acting out and causing pain to others.
